How does it work?

Barco ClickShare Conference allows users to easily connect to meetings using their personal devices – it’s what they call “bring your own meeting” (BYOM). Nureva systems deliver the meeting room audio and use patented Microphone Mist™ technology to provide full-room microphone coverage, so remote users hear every word of the meeting. The Nureva audio conferencing system is easily connected to a Barco ClickShare Conference unit. No complicated wiring required. It’s that simple. To start a meeting, users wirelessly connect their personal device using the ClickShare button. Any peripheral devices connected to the ClickShare Conference unit are recognized and available.

What is BYOM?

Bring your own meeting or BYOM makes it easy for people to host conference calls using their preferred conferencing platform (e.g., Microsoft® Teams, Cisco Webex®, Zoom and many more) from their personal devices. Gone are the days where spontaneous meetings are delayed while logging in or teams huddling around a conferencing telephone at a table. With Barco ClickShare Conference, users connect wirelessly to meeting room cameras, displays and Nureva audio systems. That personal device becomes a full-room audio solution for immersive and collaborative meetings.

Anyone who has attended a meeting as a remote participant will tell you that hearing the conversation in the room is essential. With patented Microphone Mist™ technology, Nureva audio solutions allow in-room participants to be heard, wherever they are in the room.
