Grace Liang and Salma Salhi
Grace Liang is about to enter her grade 12 year at William Aberhart High School. She has been involved in STEM since she first played with Lego. In recent years, she has been highly involved in the FIRST Robotics Competition and has created a mobile startup business in the Technovation program along with a team of 5. Outside of STEM Grace is a competitive pianist and an EDM artist, the founder of the Toastmasters Calgary Youth Gavel Club, and enjoys oil painting and writing. Salma Salhi is a grade 12 student at Sir Winston Churchill High School. She has been involved in many clubs and organizations relating to STEM, including Technovation, where she created a mobile startup business together with a team from her school. She is currently completing an internship at Nureva. Salma has attended writing conferences and been involved with numerous charities such as Free the Children and We Day. In her spare time, Salma enjoys reading, writing, learning programming languages, watching Netflix, and playing the cello.
