Students earn credits and gain hands-on experience in product management and user testing
Calgary, AB --- July 13, 2015 --- Nureva Inc., an early-stage technology company, welcomes Calgary Board of Education (CBE) high school students Mathieu Chin and Jathniel Ong for an eight-week paid internship that runs through August 28. The internship will give Mathieu and Jathniel real-world experience working on the company’s education products, while helping them develop the knowledge and skills required to succeed in business.
Mathieu and Jathniel will learn about product management processes, explore emerging education technology trends and help shape future versions of Nureva™ Troove™ digital portfolio software. They will also share their perspectives on the current education system, create educationally relevant content and provide input into the development of other education products currently under development. The CBE student interns earn one credit for every 25 hours of work, amounting to 10 credits for the internship, which will go toward their grades and high school diploma.
