When I talk to our customers, they consistently tell us they need their AV technology to do more, and they need to do more with less. Simplicity drives the day. And that is articulated in products that are easier to design, use and manage. It can often be difficult to find things that are easy to use that cover large spaces. And really, that’s the thing that we’re trying to address. The HDX is a scalable audio solution that covers all the audio use cases and challenges in large spaces. So, this ranges from tiered lecture halls to divisible training rooms, even to executive boardrooms. The system hub is really the heart of the HDX and includes our digital signal processing. It’s an AV integration hub. The audio bar is an integrated microphone and speaker bar. It can be mounted vertically or horizontally. The microphone pod is an additional element that can be added to an HDX system. It provides additional microphone pickup for certain use cases like voice lift or camera tracking. The HDX was designed from the ground up to be simple, just like our existing products, to make sure that in these larger environments, which often take multiple components and multiple manufacturers, that we could do that all with just a Nureva® HDX system. One of the biggest challenges in large spaces is just getting people to participate. That’s why we’re so excited about Adaptive Voice Lift. Adaptive Voice Lift will allow an instructor to speak in their normal voice without having to wear any kind of physical microphone and know that they can be heard by all the students in the class. It will also allow students in the class to ask questions, be heard by other students in the class and heard by the instructor. An area that’s new for us with the HDX series is assistive listening with Auracast™. Our assistive listening feature supports people with hearing challenges and allows them to use their own devices. Within HDX, we’ve included sustainability in all aspects, including in the product itself where we have postconsumer recycled plastics used throughout, recyclable fabrics as well as packaging that uses renewable resources and even within the use of the product, energy-saving modes. The HDX series is a line extension. It will live alongside the HDL series. So, this is all about adding to our portfolio and giving our customers more choice. The HDX series will change large-room audio by making it easier than ever to get full-room microphone coverage AND great audio output. We’re completely changing the way this is done today, and I’m really looking forward to how people adopt it.
The HDX series (coming soon) is the newest member of our product family. The HDL series remains a proven choice for conferencing. But which option is right for you?
