We’re reinventing
conferencing. Want in?
At Nureva, we believe that the lone genius is no match for the power of the team. That’s why we’re on a mission to help people work and learn better together – even when they’re miles apart. Ready to join us?
Built on a foundation of respect and integrity
From our annual cohort of interns to our experienced management group, everyone on our diverse team has something to contribute. We work closely to bring each other’s ideas to life, whether we’re in the office or connecting remotely. And we make time for fun, in person when possible (foosball and pizza lunches) and remote when not (online games and virtual happy hours).
Our two offices are open and welcoming. In Calgary, our home is a vibrant downtown space with views of the Rocky Mountains and plenty of natural light. In Ottawa, we’re in a bright, sunny office in the Kanata Research Park next to a golf course with ample parking. We worked from home during COVID-19, and now we’re hybrid and flexible. We have all the tools we need for great remote teamwork.
What to expect
Start by applying to us directly through a link in our job postings. There’s space to fill in the essential details about yourself, plus upload a copy of your résumé and cover letter. We want to know more about you, so make sure to also add a link to your LinkedIn page, GitHub profile, portfolio or website.
Our hiring managers look at all the applications as they come in. If it seems like you might be a good fit, they’ll add you to the shortlist and we’ll give you a call. In a chat that normally lasts around 30 minutes, we’d like to hear why you applied and how your experience relates to the role. This is also a great time for you to ask us questions about what it’s like to work at Nureva.
Next comes interviews – in-person and/or virtual meetings using Microsoft® Teams. First, you’ll meet with the hiring manager and a couple of other team members. If you’re a developer, this is usually a technical interview. Next, there’s a fit interview with members of your team or others you could be working with. There may be one more interview if needed. Throughout the process, we encourage you to ask lots of questions to make sure Nureva is the right fit for you.
We’d also like to hear from people you’ve worked with in the past, so we ask for two professional references, with at least one from a supervisor or manager. When we know that you’re the right match for the role, we’ll give you a verbal offer, followed by a formal offer package.
If you accept the offer, we ask every candidate to complete a criminal background check within 24 hours. Once it’s clear, we’ll send you some electronic paperwork to seal the deal. Then the onboarding process begins. Welcome to the team!

We generally only consider applicants who are legally eligible to work in the country. Visa sponsorship is rare but may be considered for specialized positions.
You’ll find general information above, and we’re happy to fill you in on the details during your first interview. Please note that these benefits are for permanent full-time staff in Canada.
You’ll receive an automated response confirming that we received your application. We will only contact candidates whose experience and skills align with what we’re looking for.
We’d like to, but sometimes there are just too many qualified people to talk to them all. Rest assured that we take the time needed to review all applications carefully. We may also consider candidates who have previously applied to other Nureva roles.
People who work here love solving challenging problems. But they also know they can’t do it on their own, so they excel at collaborating. From senior management to our yearly group of interns, everyone at Nureva is team-oriented and willing to pitch in to get things done.
Our company is growing rapidly, and our needs are always evolving. We encourage you to keep an eye on the website and apply when you see a role for which you are qualified.
