Logitech and Nureva: A powerful combo in larger meeting spaces

At Nureva, we want to help you provide uncompromised conferencing experiences. It’s why we work closely with leading suppliers like Logitech. In this guest blog, Tim Jewett, strategic alliances manager, Logitech B2B, describes how well our companies’ products — and teams — come together to deliver simplified high-performance solutions for larger rooms.

IT pros love the audio and video performance they get from Logitech® systems. But in some cases, such as for setups in larger rooms, a little more audio horsepower might be required for microphone pickup.

To give our customers what they need in these spaces, we seek out, carefully vet and then collaborate with select AV suppliers. When it comes to audio, we’re pleased to work closely with the good people at Nureva.

Simplicity, performance, commitment

Why Nureva? Three reasons.

First, they share Logitech’s dedication to simplicity. It’s in the DNA of both of our companies to simplify videoconferencing technology as much as possible — for the IT pros responsible for setting up, maintaining and monitoring the equipment and, ultimately, for those using the meeting rooms and classrooms. We love how Nureva’s tech makes it possible to provide full-room mic pickup with just one wall-mounted mic and speaker bar for large rooms or two for extra-large rooms.

Second, we’re impressed by the audio performance they deliver. Their Microphone Mist™ technology provides pro AV performance that allows for seamless collaboration in a wide range of room shapes and sizes. It produces the audio quality that Logitech customers demand.

Third, Nureva has committed to working closely with us to provide the initial testing and ongoing firmware updates that ensure our solutions work together seamlessly.

Bottom line: If you’re an IT pro equipping hybrid work and hybrid learning spaces, you’ll want flexible, reconfigurable solutions that easily adapt to room conditions and the other tech in each space. With Logitech and Nureva, you’ll get just what you’re looking for.

Solutions for a wide range of spaces

What are some of the scenarios for bringing together Logitech and Nureva?

Divisible rooms — See just how flexible your spaces can be with this pairing of our technologies. Spaces up to 35' x 55' (10.7 x 16.8 m) can be divided into two fully equipped areas. And it takes surprisingly few components. All you need are a Nureva® HDL410 audio system with a second connect module, an Ethernet switch, two Logitech Rally Cameras and two Logitech Tap touch controllers.

Large meeting rooms — Get exceptional audio and video coverage for your spaces up to 30' x 30' (9.1 x 9.1 m) with a minimal number of components — just an HDL310 audio system, a Logitech Rally Camera, a Logitech Tap touch controller and a Logitech RoomMate appliance or PC.

Extra-large boardrooms — Capture all the audio and video you need in spaces up to 35' x 55' (10.7 x 16.8 m) with an HDL410 audio system, two Logitech Rally Cameras, a Logitech Tap touch controller and a Logitech RoomMate appliance or PC.

Hybrid classrooms — Discover how simple creating an engaging remote learning solution can be. You can equip classrooms up to 30' x 30' (9.1 x 9.1 m) with just an HDL310 audio system, a Logitech Rally Camera, a Logitech Tap touch controller and a Logitech RoomMate appliance.

External audio support

What are some of the other ways in which Logitech and Nureva come together?

Logitech’s all-in-one meeting room solutions, such as the Rally Bar and the Rally Bar Mini, provide high-quality video and audio performance. And with no computer or laptop required, they’re incredibly simple-to-use solutions that users and IT pros alike tell us they love. Another big plus with these systems is that the video components work exceptionally well in spaces larger than those they’re designed or specced for — but in these cases, external audio devices may be required for full-room coverage and more robust playback. So, we’ve expanded our external audio support, enabling new options for third-party microphones and speakers like those from Nureva. With this new capability, which was already available with the RoomMate appliance, you can now link a Rally Bar or Rally Bar Mini to an external digital signal processor or, in the case of Nureva, their connect module.

All Nureva systems integrate seamlessly with our peripherals, such as the Logitech Tap touch controller and RoomMate appliance. If you’re using the RoomMate with systems from Nureva’s HDL pro series (the HDL310 and HDL410 systems), you can access their cloud-based management and monitoring tool, Nureva Console, without having to download any software to an in-room PC.

And for the ultimate experience in video collaboration for hybrid teams, we recommend our CollabOS unifying operating system. It got rave reviews from the Nureva testing team for its ability to enable select devices — including Nureva systems — to work together seamlessly.

In-depth collaboration

While we at both Logitech and Nureva design our respective products to be highly adaptable to the broadest ecosystem of third-party tech, we each go to the extra effort of facilitating in-depth collaboration on Logitech–Nureva integrations. Doing this well requires a good working relationship between our companies. I’m pleased that our respective teams are highly responsive to each other. I guess it’s not just our products that work well together.
