Do you manage a lot of audio-equipped meeting rooms or classrooms? Over the past several months, we’ve rolled out some new additions to Nureva® Console and Nureva Developer Toolkit that are designed to make your life easier — including expanding your device management tools and enhancing our integrations with Extron® and Crestron® control systems.
If you haven’t heard, Nureva Console is our secure, cloud-based platform that makes it simple to manage and monitor your Nureva products. It comes standard with every Nureva device and includes access to the Nureva Developer Toolkit. And with Nureva Pro (2-year subscription included with purchase), you can access additional features in both. Here’s what’s new.
Enhanced device monitoring
When you’re responsible for keeping multiple rooms running smoothly, you need all the help you can get to spot problems before they turn into IT tickets. That’s why we’ve given you the ability to monitor a wider range of devices right from Nureva Console.
In addition to checking the status of your audio systems and USB cameras, you can monitor your Internet Protocol (IP) network-connected devices, such as displays and other cameras. Just add them to your room setup in Nureva Console and you’re ready to go. You’ll see right away if devices go offline, and there’s no need to install or use additional software. This feature is available for the HDL310 and HDL410 systems.
Extron and Crestron local APIs
If you have Extron or Crestron systems in your rooms, you’ve long been able to use them to control your Nureva audio systems, thanks to cloud-based APIs in the Nureva Developer Toolkit. But now you can also take advantage of local APIs to get the same easy functionality.
Like our cloud APIs, these new local APIs enable users to adjust volume up and down, mute and unmute, recalibrate audio or adjust treble and bass settings. It’s just another way we’re making it easier to use our audio systems with other AV products you already have in your spaces.
New look for the toolkit
