Calgary, Alberta --- November 8, 2017 --- Nureva Inc., an award-winning collaboration-solutions company, announces its participation in Bett at ExCel London from January 24 to 27, 2018. The company will demonstrate new features in Nureva™ Span software and introduce educators to the Nureva HDL300 audio conferencing system. Visitors to Nureva’s stand C160 will experience how its integrated solutions create a dynamic learning environment for active collaboration amongst learners in a wide range of primary, secondary and postsecondary settings and spaces. Educators will also see how their interactive displays and student devices can be better utilized as tools for highly collaborative learning.

Nureva is focused on enabling the physical and virtual spaces where educators and learners converge with practices and ideas to create extraordinary learning experiences. Attendees to Bett are encouraged to visit Nureva’s stand C160 to experience and discover how Nureva’s products support a fresh approach to collaborative, student-led learning.

“We’re excited to demonstrate our expanded solutions for collaborative learning spaces to the global education community attending Bett,” said Nancy Knowlton, Nureva’s CEO. “Visitors to our stand will see how new features in Span software and the addition of the HDL300 audio conferencing system open up exciting opportunities to create truly unique learning experiences.”

About the Span system

The Span system is ideal for creative collaboration activities that benefit from visualizing and interacting with information on a large surface. The system transforms classroom walls into large, ultrawide interactive surfaces that display an expansive digital canvas. Learners create their ideas on their personal devices, either a computer, tablet or smartphone, and share them in the cloud. The system draws upon familiar, simple and flexible tools already widely used in paper-based collaboration processes including sticky notes, sketches, images and flip charts. The digital canvas retains all of the flexibility that paper-based systems offer (e.g., large workspaces with persistent information) while overcoming many of the deficiencies (e.g., the awkwardness of physically moving large numbers of sticky notes, the need for transcription, storage and retention of the work, and challenges of including remote learners in the process). The Span system is available in a variety of models and configurations to suit different types of creative collaboration activities and learning spaces. About the HDL300 audio conferencing system

The HDL300 audio conferencing system resolves the frustrating and persistent issue of poor audio pickup, especially where pan-European collaboration takes place between dynamic classroom environments with lots of activity. At the core of the HDL300 system is Nureva’s breakthrough Microphone Mist™ technology. This technology places 8,192 virtual microphones throughout a classroom to pick up sound from any location to ensure that everyone is clearly heard regardless of where they are in the room or the direction they are facing. The system uses sophisticated algorithms to simultaneously process sound from all virtual microphones to provide remote learners with a high-quality listening experience. This power is used to create a quality listening experience for remote learners by way of the virtual microphones, continuous autocalibration, simultaneous echo cancellation, position-based automatic gain control and sound masking. The HDL300 system can also be used as the primary source for audio and video playback to ensure everyone in the classroom can hear instructional podcasts and videos. The HDL300 system is optimized for small to mid-sized classrooms, and is designed to work with Skype® for Business, Zoom, Blue Jeans, Cisco® Spark, Cisco WebEx®, GoToMeeting™, Pexip® Infinity Connect and other common UC&C applications.
