FAQs
Traditional AV systems are built for fixed spaces. When a movable wall shifts, ceiling mics, speakers and DSP programming can’t adapt. Dead zones appear, remote participants drop off and a technician gets called in to manually reconfigure the system before the meeting can start.
Nureva audio works differently. Two HDL310 systems connected to a standard Ethernet switch adapt automatically to each room configuration — no DSP, no custom programming, no specialist required. The audio adjusts in real time the moment the wall moves.
The core setup for a divisible room audio solution consists of two HDL310 systems connected to an Ethernet switch. Each HDL310 system covers spaces up to 30' x 30' (9.1 x 9.1 m), and the pair working together handles a combined space up to 30' x 55' (9.1 x 16.8 m) when the divider is open. Beyond the audio devices themselves, no DSP hardware, ceiling mics or complex cabling are required. Nureva’s divisible room design guide walks through the full setup step-by-step.
No. Traditional AV systems require manual recalibration or a technician visit every time a room’s acoustic profile is changed due to reconfiguration involving a movable wall. That means downtime and IT support scheduling just to run a meeting in a different configuration.
Nureva® systems adapt automatically using patented Microphone Mist™ technology. Whether the room is divided or open, the audio performs consistently without manual intervention. No recalibration, no technician, no downtime.
Nureva systems don’t include built-in partition sensors, but APIs in the Nureva Developer Toolkit allow integrators to connect sensor-triggered signals to the room configuration. This means the switch between divided and combined modes can be automated through your existing room control system or AV routing infrastructure.
Yes. The HDL310 system is certified for both Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms, making it one of a few microphone and speaker bar solutions certified for larger meeting spaces and classrooms on both platforms. Whether your organization runs Teams Rooms or Zoom Rooms, you can trust that the divisible room audio equipment will perform within your chosen ecosystem.
Each HDL310 system delivers full-room microphone pickup in its own section, using patented Microphone Mist technology that fills the space with thousands of virtual microphones. When the room is divided, each section functions as a fully independent conference room or classroom with complete audio coverage. There are no dead spots, and no repositioning of ceiling mics or speakers is needed when the room configuration changes.
A standard divisible room setup using two HDL310 systems starts at $8,798 USD in the United States (two systems at $4,399 USD each). You’ll also need an Ethernet switch, which is a standard, low-cost network component. HDL310 systems come with a 2-year subscription to Nureva Pro, with expanded support, advance hardware replacement and enhanced analytics. Each HDL310 system also includes fleet management through Nureva Console, device setup through the Nureva App and full API access through the Nureva Developer Toolkit, making it a genuinely cost-effective divisible room audio system.
Yes. Nureva Console is a cloud-based management platform included with every system. IT teams use it to monitor device status, make bulk updates and manage settings across all their meeting spaces, learning spaces and divisible rooms from a single dashboard. There’s no on-site visit required for routine management, which is a meaningful advantage for organizations maintaining audio equipment across multiple sites or campuses.
When your divisible space is divided, each section needs its own videoconferencing setup, including a camera. The HDL310 system includes camera zone functionality and other integrations, which allow it to work with compatible cameras to focus on each person talking in each section. Nureva systems are compatible with cameras from Logitech, Sony and more.
