FAQs
Traditional conference room audio systems rely on multiple ceiling microphones, external audio mixers and DSP hardware that require complex programming and ongoing calibration. Each Nureva® audio system for meeting rooms uses patented Microphone Mist™ technology to fill the space with thousands of virtual microphones, providing true full-room coverage from one or two mic and speaker bars and a connect module. There’s no need to purchase separate components, and continuous autocalibration keeps the audio quality consistent without manual intervention.
The right fit depends on your room size. The HDL200 system covers medium-sized rooms up to 18' x 18' (5.5 x 5.5 m). For larger spaces up to 30' x 30' (9.1 x 9.1 m), the HDL310 system delivers pro AV performance with a flexible microphone and speaker bar that mounts to a wall or display. For extra-large boardrooms and conference spaces up to 35' x 55' (10.7 x 16.8 m), the HDL410 system offers the most powerful coverage in the HDL series lineup. Each system is a plug and play solution that ships ready to deploy. The HDX series, our new full-featured audio system for meeting rooms, is also available for larger spaces up to 40' x 60' (12.2 x 18.3 m).
Yes. Nureva’s HDL310 and HDL410 systems are certified for larger Microsoft® Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms. That certification means you can trust the audio conferencing experience will perform as expected within those platforms, without workarounds or third-party patches. For a seamless videoconferencing experience, Nureva works with a wide range of third-party cameras that are certified for Teams and Zoom. Nureva’s audio systems also support Copilot and other Teams features, so your investment stays relevant as the UC&C platform evolves.
Most Nureva systems can be installed in as little as 30 or 60 minutes, depending on the model. There’s no need to hire a programmer or AV specialist for the installation. The Nureva App walks your IT team through configuration step by step, and wired USB connectivity keeps the setup clean and reliable. That ease of installation also makes it practical to scale deployment across many spaces without significant labor costs.
The Microphone Mist technology in Nureva audio systems creates a dense grid of thousands of virtual microphones throughout the room, so there are no dead zones regardless of where people talk, sit or stand. Unlike with fixed microphone arrays, Nureva’s approach adapts in real time to the environment. Presenters facing a display, people seated at the far end of a table and anyone moving throughout the room are all picked up with high-quality sound. This is especially valuable in open spaces and irregularly shaped rooms where traditional mic placement falls short.
Nureva systems apply continuous autocalibration and Intelligent Sound Targeting to focus on voices while reducing unwanted background noise from HVAC systems, projectors and other common noise sources. Continuous echo cancellation is built in, so remote participants benefit from clear communication without the feedback or reverberation that can make hybrid collaboration frustrating. After the initial setup, no manual tuning is needed for everyday use.
Yes. The HDL310 and HDL410 systems generate accurate sound location data that can be used to drive automated camera tracking and switching. When participants speak, the audio system provides directional or positional data so the cameras can each focus on the right person automatically. Camera zones are configured for your room layout, and compatibility with cameras from third-party brands like Logitech and Lumens makes this straightforward for most setups.
Every Nureva system includes 2 years of Nureva Pro service plan coverage, with extended warranty, advance hardware replacement and access to enhanced Nureva Console features. Nureva Console is a secure, cloud-based management platform for monitoring your audio systems across locations — included at no extra cost. The Nureva App and the Nureva Developer Toolkit for API-based integration are also included. There are no separate charges for management software and there is no need for any DSP hardware.
Nureva systems are designed to integrate seamlessly with the platforms and peripherals most organizations rely on. Certified compatibility with Microsoft Teams, Zoom and other leading platforms means there’s no need to overhaul your existing room setup. USB connectivity allows the system to appear as a standard audio device, simplifying deployment across different room types. Reference designs for popular joint solutions, including those with Logitech, MAXHUB and Lumens, make flexible configuration straightforward for most room layouts.
Scalability is built into how Nureva systems are managed. With Nureva Console, IT teams can monitor device health, push updates and review usage data across an entire fleet from a single dashboard. That means you can standardize your meeting room audio solutions across dozens or hundreds of rooms without significantly increasing support overhead. Also, the Nureva Developer Toolkit gives technical teams the ability to automate controls and integrate systems with broader room management workflows, saving time as your deployment grows. With the new HDX series, the lineup continues to expand to meet evolving collaboration needs.
