Why standardize on Nureva? 6 excellent reasons from Technip Energies.

Innovation drives Technip Energies, a global technology and engineering leader in designing and delivering complex energy facilities and decarbonization solutions. The company is known for its creative way of thinking. When its Rome operating center reimagined audio conferencing for its meeting rooms, it required more than a simple AV upgrade. So, it set a smarter, more scalable collaboration standard. A consistent experience was needed for employees, partners and clients while supporting the company’s global IT strategy.

The Rome team chose Nureva® audio after successful adoption in some of the company’s other international offices. As Angelo Cirulli, sales and area manager at AV integrator VideoGecom put it: “The Nureva ecosystem proved to be the commercial and strategic cornerstone. With Nureva, Technip is standardizing the user experience across 13 separate rooms in Rome, just like in other parts of the world. It meets their needs in terms of both budget and operational consistency.”

Breaking it down, here are the six key reasons Technip Energies chose to standardize on Nureva audio in its Rome offices.

The Technip Energies project was supported by Intermark Sistemi, a distributor focused on simple, value-added solutions, and VideoGecom, a systems integrator with special expertise in optimizing user experiences.

1. Audio performance for better collaboration in hybrid meetings

For Technip Energies, clear communication between in-room and remote participants was nonnegotiable. Meeting room audio systems needed to capture every voice clearly, regardless of where people were seated or how they moved around the room.

Nureva’s Microphone Mist™ technology, which provides full-room mic coverage, was a major factor in the decision. It combines automatic gain control, continuous autocalibration and other audio features to deliver consistent pickup throughout each space so remote participants hear every speaker clearly.

“Microphone Mist technology solves every acoustic issue natively,” said Marco Rinaldi, pre-sales engineer at VideoGecom, Technip’s AV integrator for the project.

2. Adaptability across a variety of meeting spaces

The Rome office includes everything from standard meeting rooms to executive spaces and a large 20-seat conference room. The company needed one audio platform that could be used in all of them.

VideoGecom deployed HDL310 systems in the boardrooms and standard meeting rooms, and it selected the HDL410 dual-bar system for the largest space.

Many of these rooms are used dynamically throughout the day for different types of meetings. Addressing this flexibility was another reason the company and VideoGecom chose Nureva. As Rinaldi notes, “Nureva systems automatically compensate for environmental changes and the movements of talkers.”

The result was what Cirulli described as “a flexible and elegant solution” capable of “standardizing the user experience across multiple spaces.”

3. Simplified IT management for global teams

As a global organization, Technip Energies wanted a solution that aligned with corporate standards while reducing operational complexity.

Nureva systems include Nureva Console and the Nureva App, which put a wide range of management controls at AV/IT team members’ fingertips. This aligns with the company’s desire for a system that provides a software-driven approach, reducing the need for ongoing adjustments while delivering a consistent user experience across rooms and locations.

“Nureva audio delivers simplified IT management that perfectly meets the needs of large multinational organizations. It has proven to be the ideal choice for the corporate world,” said Luigi Sallustio, area manager at Intermark Sistemi, the Nureva distributor for the project.

4. No tabletop clutter and fewer cables

Room aesthetics were also important. Technip Energies wanted collaboration spaces that felt modern and professional “without the clutter of microphones on the table,” said Rinaldi.

Wall-mounted Nureva systems allowed VideoGecom to deliver exactly that, resulting in a cleaner room design that preserves both functionality and appearance.

5. Easy installation and setup

To avoid the cost and complexity of traditional systems, the deployment team needed a solution that could be installed efficiently and cost-effectively.

With plug and play systems that can be installed in as little as 30 minutes, Nureva fit the bill. Instead of requiring manual programming, Nureva systems auto-calibrate — intelligence is built directly into the system so everything works automatically.

For users, the experience is equally simple: connect and start collaborating.

6. Fewer support calls

Reducing support requirements was another important consideration. The company wanted meeting rooms that performed consistently without creating an additional workload for its IT team.

The self-calibrating nature of Nureva systems helps prevent many of the issues that traditionally generate service requests. In Rinaldi’s words, the technology helps deliver “a clean installation and eliminate post-sales support tickets.”

The result

With 12 HDL310 systems and one HDL410 deployed across its Rome office, Technip Energies now enjoys a standardized hybrid meeting environment that balances audio quality, user simplicity and IT efficiency.

Employees benefit from a consistent experience room to room while the IT team gains a solution designed to scale globally.

Sallustio sums it up: “With Nureva, you get excellent audio performance and simplified IT management. If you’re thinking about AV standardization, think Nureva.”
