FAQs

How is the HDL410 different from the HDL310?

The HDL410 system is designed specifically for extra-large spaces up to 35' x 55' (10.7 x 16.8 m). While the HDL310 system has a single microphone and speaker bar and a connect module, the HDL410 system combines two microphone and speaker bars with a connect module to deliver full-room microphone coverage across much larger spaces. The HDL410 system also features a unified coverage map that processes the microphones from both bars together for clearer, more consistent pickup throughout the room.

Is the HDL410 suitable for extra-large Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms?

Yes. The HDL410 system is the only microphone and speaker bar solution certified for extra-large Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms. It delivers full-room microphone coverage without the complexity typically associated with traditional pro AV audio systems.

What is the unified coverage map feature?

The HDL410 system has two microphone and speaker bars, but their microphones are processed together rather than independently. A giant microphone array spans the entire room, creating a more natural audio experience for remote participants.

Does the HDL410 system need to be recalibrated when a room layout changes?

No, the Nureva HDL410 system features continuous autocalibration, so it’s always automatically adapting to changes in your room’s acoustic environment. Whether you’ve moved furniture, changed the seating layout or added new equipment, the system adjusts on its own using adaptive learning algorithms that monitor and respond to your room conditions in real time. There’s no need to trigger a recalibration or call in a technician.

Can we monitor device health across all our rooms without visiting each one?

Yes, the HDL410 system includes Console Direct, a dedicated Ethernet port that maintains a continuous and secure connection to Nureva Console, Nureva’s cloud-based management platform. From there, IT teams can check device statuses, analyze room data and manage their entire fleet of devices remotely. It’s particularly useful for teams responsible for large numbers of rooms across multiple buildings or campuses.

Can the HDL410 be integrated with a room control system?

Yes, the HDL410 system includes the Nureva Developer Toolkit, at no extra cost, which gives your team the ability to access developer APIs for both local and cloud-based control. This makes it straightforward to integrate the HDL410 system into custom room control setups, automation workflows or existing AV management infrastructure without needing a custom pro AV system built around proprietary hardware.

Do I need ceiling microphones or a separate DSP with the HDL410?

No. The HDL410 system is a complete audio conferencing solution that includes microphone pickup, speaker output, audio processing, setup tools and management software. There’s no need to purchase separate ceiling microphones, DSPs or additional audio processing components.

How does the Nureva HDL410 handle a room where multiple people are speaking at once?

The HDL410 system is built for exactly this scenario. Microphone Mist technology listens to thousands of virtual microphones simultaneously and uses rapid conversation tracking to zero in on the voice of each person who’s talking. The result is that conversations sound natural even when several people are speaking at once. Remote participants hear a clear, balanced audio feed rather than a muddled mix, with a more natural listening experience for everyone on the call.

Full-room mic pickup

Our Microphone Mist technology fills extra-large spaces with thousands of virtual microphones, so there’s always one nearby. People in the room can be confident they’ll always be heard by those who are remote.

×

Continuous autocalibration

There’s no need to calibrate your HDL410 manually. It’s always adapting to changes in your room’s acoustic profile, so even if you adjust the furniture or layout, the audio will still sound great.

×

Intelligent Sound Targeting

HVAC and other unwanted sounds can seriously affect your audio performance. So, instead of trying to suppress these noises after the fact, we use adaptive learning algorithms to preemptively ignore them.

×

Rapid conversation tracking

Our technology quickly switches pickup from talker to talker, no matter where they are in the room. Conversations sound natural, even when multiple voices overlap.

×

Position-based gain control

We apply gain separately to each sound in a space based on its position, creating a smooth and natural listening experience for remote participants.
