InfoComm 2025 — our top moments and insights

We recently had the pleasure of attending InfoComm® 2025 in Orlando. In particular, we enjoyed connecting with industry leaders, our customers and our channel, and we were excited to showcase our latest innovations in audio technology.
HETMA Higher Education Summit
We kicked off the week by sponsoring and participating in the HETMA (Higher Education Technology Managers Alliance) event on the Monday and Tuesday. These sessions offered valuable insights into the evolving challenges and priorities in higher education, helping us better understand how we can support educators and students.
On the show floor
From the Wednesday to the Friday, our booth was a hub of activity. We featured live demos of the microphone pickup of the HDL310, which continues to impress audiences with its simplicity and performance.
We also offered an exciting preview of our HDX series, which generated significant buzz. Attendees were particularly drawn to its intelligent audio capabilities, Adaptive Voice Lift and Auracast™ broadcast audio for assistive listening — easy-to-use features that set a new benchmark for audio in large and extra-large spaces. The response was overwhelmingly positive.

Ecosystem collaboration
A key highlight of the week was our meetings with our ecosystem, the companies whose products are commonly installed alongside ours. These conversations were rich with ideas and enthusiasm about how we can collaborate more deeply in the year ahead.
What we heard
Two clear themes emerged from our conversations with attendees:
1. Simplicity is essential. While systems must be full featured and powerful, they also need to be easy to deploy, use and manage. Simplicity was top of mind for nearly everyone.
2. Interoperability matters. While many companies are expanding their product portfolios in the collaboration space, end users are demanding the freedom to choose best-of-breed solutions. Seamless integration is no longer optional — it’s expected.
IT’s growing influence
A recurring theme was the surge of IT in what has been the exclusive domain of AV. As David Danto noted in his post-show article, InfoComm 2025: AV’s Slow Boil Into IT: “Commercial AV is being pulled into enterprise IT’s orbit, remapping its purpose and value.” This shift aligns perfectly with our long-held IT-first approach, and we’re encouraged to see the industry moving steadily in this direction.
The aesthetics vs. acoustics dilemma
One of the most impassioned concerns we heard about was the conflict between aesthetics and acoustics in meeting room design. Many attendees expressed frustration with rooms that prioritize visual appeal — with glass walls, open ceilings and concrete floors — at the expense of audio quality. These design choices create reverberant spaces that challenge both in-room and remote communication.
The question we heard repeatedly: How can your products overcome these design decisions? Our thoughts on this dilemma are simple: It’s time for organizations to seriously consider what matters most — appearance or performance.

HDX previews now available
If you missed InfoComm and want to learn more about the HDX system, we’re hosting regular briefings led by our products team. These sessions will cover the product architecture and roadmap. To join, email us at sales@nureva.com, and we’ll share upcoming dates and times.
We’re energized by the momentum from InfoComm and excited about what’s ahead. As always, we’re here to connect — just reach out and let us know how we can support you.
